The short version
- We collect what you send us in our quote form or when you book a call, plus what we need to run your program if you become a customer.
- We use it to answer you, quote, deliver your program and bill you. We don't sell it, and we don't share it for advertising.
- We don't use tracking cookies, ad pixels or cross-site trackers.

Who we are
This policy covers smfhub.com and the services of Sterile Mosquito Factory LLC ("SMF", "we", "us"), a Texas company serving Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.

What we collect
Information you give us in the quote form
What we ask depends on who the request is for.
- Everyone: who the request is for (commercial property, homeowner, city or district, partner), your name, email, phone number (required for commercial and city requests, optional for homeowners and partners), ZIP code, any message you write, and your agreement that we can contact you about your request.
- Commercial properties: property or company name, your role, property type, approximate size, number of sites and when you'd like to start.
- Homeowners: street address, city, yard size and, if you choose, a few yard details (dogs or cats, pool, pond, kids play outside, dense shade, standing water). These are questions about the yard so we can plan releases. We don't ask for, and don't want, information about the children themselves.
- Cities and districts: agency, your role, what you're exploring, timeline and procurement notes.
- Partners: organization, your role, type of partnership and where you're based.
Information sent along with the form
When you send the form, it also sends the page you sent it from, the site that referred you, any campaign tags in the link you followed (such as "utm_source"), the date and time, and whether your ZIP is in our service area.
We don't store your IP address with your request. Our spam check (below) uses it for a moment to tell people from bots, and then our form handler discards it.
Spam and security checks
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. To tell people from bots, Turnstile looks at technical signals such as your IP address and browser characteristics. Cloudflare processes this under its own privacy terms. Cloudflare also handles the normal security and hosting logs for our site, which include IP addresses, and keeps them according to its own policies.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't follow you across other websites and doesn't build a profile of you. We see only totals, such as which pages are popular, which sites send visitors, and country and device type.
Booking a call
Calls are booked through Google Calendar appointment schedules. When you book, Google collects your name, email and any notes you add, sends the confirmation and adds the call to our calendar. The booking page is a Google service covered by Google's Privacy Policy, and Google may use its own cookies there.
If you become a customer
To run your program we keep your name, contact details, service address, plan, release schedule, delivery and payment history, and our messages with you. Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We don't see or store your full card number.
When you email or call us
We keep your emails and notes from calls so we can follow up.
How we use it
- To answer your request, prepare a quote, schedule an assessment or call, and reply by email or phone.
- To check whether you're in our service area and plan where and when your release plates go.
- If you're outside our area, to let you know when we reach it (unless you ask us not to).
- If you're a customer, to deliver your program, send release instructions and reminders, bill you, handle your guarantee and refunds, and send required notices such as renewal reminders.
- To keep the site secure and stop spam.
- To understand which pages are useful, using totals only.
We don't use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similar effects on you. We don't use it for targeted advertising, and we don't sell it.
Emails and calls from us
- After you send the form, a person from SMF replies by email or phone about your request only.
- We don't send newsletters or marketing emails at launch. If we ever start, we'll ask first, and every marketing email will include a working unsubscribe link.
- If you give us a phone number, we use it only to call you about your request or your program. We don't send marketing calls or text messages, and we don't use autodialers or prerecorded messages. If we ever offer text updates, we'll ask for your separate permission first, and you'll be able to reply STOP at any time.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that run our website and business for us, and only so they can do that work:

These providers may only use your information to provide their services to us.
Our technology partner, Senecio, does not receive your information. We don't share lead or customer data with Senecio or any other technology partner.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our legal rights, or if SMF's business is sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information we hold.
Cookies
SMF doesn't set cookies for tracking or advertising. Cloudflare Turnstile and the Google booking page may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technology for security and to make booking work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them may stop the booking page from working; if so, email or call us and we'll book for you.
How long we keep it

You can ask us to delete your information sooner. We'll do it unless we have to keep something, for example billing records we need for taxes.
How we protect it
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) on the whole site. Only SMF team members who need your information can see it, and our Google and Cloudflare accounts are protected with two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we'll notify you and the authorities as Texas law requires.
Your choices and rights
Whatever state you live in, you can ask us to:
- see the personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct anything that's wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop contacting you, by email, phone or both.
Texas residents also have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including the right to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising and certain profiling. We don't do any of those, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you're welcome to ask.
How to ask. Email hello@smfhub.com or call (972) 866-4620. Tell us what you'd like and how to reach you. We'll confirm the request comes from you, usually by replying to the email address we have on file. We'll answer within 45 days, and usually much sooner. If we need more time, we'll tell you why.
Appeals. If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer or emailing hello@smfhub.com with "Appeal" in the subject line. We'll respond within 60 days. If you're not satisfied with the result, you can contact the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov.
We won't charge you or treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
The site and our services are meant for adults and organizations. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us information, email hello@smfhub.com and we'll delete it.
Visitors outside the US
We serve the US, and our information is stored and processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date. If a change is significant, such as adding a new type of provider or starting marketing emails, we'll post it here before it takes effect and, for customers, tell you by email.
