Why homeowners choose sterile males
Sprays, foggers, misting systems, traps, zappers and repellents deal with the mosquitoes already flying. Sterile males go after the next generation instead.
Your part takes about a minute
A release plate of sterile males arrives twice a month in the warm months and one a month in winter. Follow the instructions, open it in your yard, done.
What to expect, week by week
The first change comes fast, then each release stops another generation, so the effect keeps building.
Safe for the whole household
No chemicals means nothing to wash off, wait out or worry about.
Safety and regulation →Extra sterile males, at no charge.
No penalty for canceling.
When you cancel, we refund your last month on request.
Homeowner questions
What if the mosquitoes fly over to my neighbor's yard?
Most stay close: Asian tiger mosquitoes rarely travel more than a few hundred feet. Any males that drift next door don't bite, so your neighbor simply gets fewer mosquitoes too.
Is it safe for dogs?
Yes. There's nothing on the grass, in the water bowl or on your dog's paws.
Will it get rid of every mosquito in my yard?
No. We reduce the Asian tiger and yellow fever mosquitoes that bite by day and at dusk. Night-biting mosquitoes are a different species and aren't affected.
How long until I notice fewer mosquitoes?
You should start to feel the difference within 7 to 14 days, and it keeps improving from there.
Do I need to be home for releases?
No. There's no appointment and no technician visit. Opening a plate takes about a minute.
